Keep you pet safe over the 4th of July holiday

America's Independence day!  A day of celebration, cookouts, and of course, fireworks!  While it may sound great to have your pet join you for the upcoming firework displays it is actually much better for your pets to stay safely inside your home.  Our pets are not able to plug their ears or appreciate the spectacular light display like we are and they can become scared and potentially hurt themselves or get lost trying to find a safe place to hide.  Try leaving your pets at home in a secure room that is farthest from the outside with a TV or radio on to hide the loud noises.  Please be sure your outdoor pets have a safe, quiet place to be in as well.  If you know that your pet is afraid of loud sounds like thunder or fireworks, please contact our office to discuss options with one of our veterinarians as some pets may require medications to remain calm over the holiday weekend.  Don't forget to always have a cool, shady place for your pet to cool down with plenty of fresh water as the summer heats up.

We look forward to hearing from you

After Hours Assurance

Do you think you have an emergency but its after hours and our clinic is closed? Don't question if its a true emergency- call us first! Introducing after hours assurance- our new service that allows you to speak with one of our veterinarians after hours and on weekends about your pet's emergencies. Now you can talk with someone you trust who knows your pet and can give you home care advice and help you determine if you need to seek emergency treatment.
